Before you even notice… the roof is placed!
The building process went smooth and last week they finished installing the roof. So much wood was needed and we had to add a few bundles of aluminium roofing sheets, but the result is there! We are very happy that we have reached this stage successfully with no major set backs. Check out below pictures!

Start of phase 2: building the walls

The foundation is almost set, so many manpower is needed..!
Phase 1 of the building project is almost completed, namely the building of the foundation. So many strong manpower is needed to carry all those heavy materials like stones, cement, and sand. The next Community Market is just around the corner 🙂
This Saturday (March 1st) join us for a fun kids activity of decorating wooden birds! See a cool picture below of two sample birds. Make sure you come on time as the market is from 9am to 12pm only at Isamilo International School. Cost is 5,000/Tsh per bird and 100% goes to the realization of

Preparing the land for building activities
Exciting news! We have received the building permit and have started clearing the land for building! Water connection is set too and we are in the process of requesting electricity connection. What comes next is buying a lot (yes really a lot) of stones, cement, sand, and bricks… Stay tuned for more building updates!

We look forward to welcome you on the 2nd Community Fair at Isamilo International school next week Saturday 8th of Feb!
