As mentioned before, the past months have brought several unexpected challenges along the way — leakages in the roof, adjustments to the electricity connections, and changes to the water system with a different supply pipe. These were important issues that needed to be resolved before we could continue with the indoor painting and installation of the large shop window. Building is certainly a journey filled with patience, flexibility, and perseverance. Some days are difficult, but each step forward reminds us again of the vision and purpose behind it all.

At the same time, we continue to experience God’s faithfulness throughout this process. Time and again, He provides exactly what is needed at the right moment. Although we did not have the budget for these unexpected repairs, we were deeply encouraged when we received a few generous donations that enabled us to continue the work. It was such a reminder that even in challenging seasons, God continues to open doors and make a way forward.

Officially, we have not opened yet, but already several people have approached us asking if they could use the space to make a set of sofa for example. It has been inspiring to witness the creativity and determination of the people around us. Even without proper worktables or finished facilities, they still find ways to work, create, and move forward. Seeing this already gives us hope and excitement for what this place may become in the future — a space filled with opportunity, creativity, and community.
